Casa Mindela Farmhouse - Giao (Porto)

Excellent place with great amenities like wi-fi, a bar, laundry, and outdoor dining areas. The staff even helped return my forgotten belongings on my first stay! I'll definitely be back for Easter.

Our double room was fashionable with large bathroom as advertised. We enjoyed that it had absolutely perfect location by restaurants.

Reasonably large and nice styled unit with a comfortable decor. Really helpful personnel, exceptionally comfortable bed. Absolutely perfect location short walk to a beautiful area, and metro for Porto and world classes beaches in a beautiful area...

Oh how quaint the Casa Mindela Farmhouse is, but it's hard to get over the small inconvenience of flies in the room. The dinner was decent, but desserts? Let's just say I've had better. I woudl ve been thrilled with a complimentary drink for my troubles, but apparently, that's just too much to ask.

Loved central heating, TV set and tea/coffee making equipment in the room. Location: the hotel was very close to a beautiful area of the country, a nearby restaurant, and Vila do Conde outlet mall and Porto/Barcelos/Braga and many other towns. Also, The Style Outlets was 2 miles away from the venue...

The breakfast had farm-fresh ingredients and was beautifully presented.

It's frustrating to find yourself in a rural setting with no local restaurants, forcing us to plan meals poorly. The owners mentioned they could help with hot food, yet it was inconvenient to walk 1km to the store for supplies, which was like a real hassle.

Nestled near the Camino, this good farmhouse offers spacious rooms with comfy beds and a relaxing patio. The hosts serve delicious home-cooked meals like smoked cod with shiitake mushroom bruschetta, ensuring you don't have to venture far for a satisfying dinner. A perfect retreat after a long day of walking!

the shared kitchen area was convenient for making snacks and drinks. no public transport nearby.

We enjoy the charming ambiance, with spacious living areas and scenic outdoor spaces that provided a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The personalized dining experience with farm-fresh ingredients was good, and the really good host hospitality.

Access route issues noted by other travelers made our arrival a bit tricky.

one downside was the location, as it can be tricky to find (we got lost! ). the large common area outside was great for relaxing. Breakfast was awesome (especially the fresh fruit). the staff were so kind and attentive!

This hotel is in a stunning part of the country, features lovely interior design, and has a really helpful staff, so we definitely plan on returning.
